Insulation made easy with HBI vinyl doors

HBI provides steel-reinforced vinyl security doors in thicknesses of 70 mm and 80 mm. Besides improving the insulation performance of the door leaf and frame, the larger thickness also allows the installation of thicker – and thus better insulating – window glass. Also, the multichambered leaf and frame profile system provides optimum thermal insulation. For example, the Uf Value is 1.5 W/m2K for the Brillant profile system (thickness: 70 mm) and only 1.2 W/m2K for the Synego profile system (thickness: 80 mm). Synego profile system entry doors are also available with a center seal upon request. The third layer of weatherstripping offers even better thermal insulation and significantly improved sound insulation.

Hard for burglars to breach

Vinyl HBI front doors outperform standard solutions by a wide margin in terms of forced entry resistance. If intruders try to breach a vinyl entry door, they will first have to make it past the perfectly matched pieces of HBI security hardware that come standard with every HBI front door. In this multi-point locking system, round and hook bolts made from hardened steel latch into the top and bottom of a solid metal locking rail, making it difficult to force apart the door and the jamb. Burglars planning to attack the hinges will be frustrated by two HBI security devices. The leaves and frames of our vinyl HBI entry doors are reinforced with galvanized steel plates to increase their structural integrity.
