Energy-saving wooden HBI windows are available in three thicknesses: 68, 80 and 92 mm. The deeper windows can readily accommodate triple glazing to deliver Passive House-quality insulation with Uw values up to 0.77 W/m2K.

The extra sash overlap gasket adds a second layer of weatherstripping for an even tighter long-term seal – which is absolutely essential for stopping heat loss, cold, humidity, drafts and noise.

Multiple steps to your chosen HBI color

Houses can be given a distinctive, variable look with HBI’s broad color pallet. First, the wood frames are treated with a colorless fungicide. Next, they are immersed in primer to get an initial layer of pigmentation. Following this double dipping process, an intermediate coat of stain is applied to protect joints and other sensitive areas from the elements. Finally, your color of choice is automatically sprayed onto the frame as a water-based, eco-friendly coating. The coats are applied uniformly for an outstanding surface finish, high UV resistance and superior splash resistance. Choose among a wide variety of RAL color stains and paints that require minimal maintenance, even when exposed to the elements under harsh conditions.
